450 pound firefighters and 600 pound lieutenants, no more getting rescued, sleep at your own risk in your own bed.

Wow. In a city where innocent people are being attacked without provocation and being thrown under trains, is this a priority? Really?

It’s good to see them focusing on the important things. Victor Hanson always says when they cannot tackle or fix the big things, they focus on the tiny inconsequential crap...and this is “Exhibit A.”

Big Flour?
I can see that. It might take 25 pounds of flour to find that wet spot.

Look at pics and home movies from the 50s and 60s - you seldom see a fast person. Then go to Walmart.

You’re behind the times, Naps. They will reduce the physical requirements and dumb down the tests. Then do it again. And again. Just like the military.
Physical Tests are racist, sexist, and fatist.

“The move was spearheaded by Democratic Councilmember Shaun Abreu, who said he was alerted to the need for “changing culture” around weight after he gained 40 pounds during lockdown. “Just recently someone who I considered to be a friend came up to me and touched my stomach and said, ‘we’re getting bigger there buddy.’ And it just speaks to the toxic culture that exists in the United States when it comes to people that are above their average peers weight,”
So a FRIEND, speaks the truth lightheartedly to you, and your response is we need another law?
There is absolutely no hope for liberals

We now see the spectacle of anorexic-shaming, becoming the “new normal”.

“Are there gaps in this bill? For sure. But I think it’s the perfect first step,” she said of the city’s new legislation. There's no gaps when she's standing there. It reads like this is really about "people of size" not liking to be reminded of their volume.

We had a Democrat congresswoman who was pushing a bill to force kids to wear a bike helmet because she couldn’t get her young daughter to wear one.
