Where was this trump during his three debt increases?

The GOOBs are always “rifting” with President Trump. It gives the Dung Beetle “media” something to write about. Each rift gives four retarded Millies or Zeros with crayons something to do.

Don’t you know his spending was “beautiful. No one had ever seen spending like this!”?

I remember his words bigly. He definitely had a love of spending the country’s money.

They don’t get Trump.

He had said for years to negotiate you must sometimes walk away for a time. That’s what this is. If you don’t get the cuts you want you shrug and say, “oh well, we’ll default then. Gonna have to do it eventually anyway.” Then the other side gets more reasonable.

Classic walk away negotiating strategy.

Great point. If the other side doesn’t believe you are willing to walk away from a deal you have zero leverage.

Trump’s skills as a master negotiator are the most important thing that made him a great president.

Do these idiots and retards know ANYTHING about negotiating?!

You just told the Dems that you’ll buy the extended warranty because gosh darn it - how can they lose?

Hopefully it works. I at least have want the corona funding returned. I mean that should be easy to negotiate. The VA medical cuts are shameful and hopefully the democrats use that as a bargain tool to keep them.

First Trump is not president, his input as a citizen is easily dismissed. Second of course the GOP will cave, they’re in on the grift.

Agreeing with DeSantis and Ryan, who are in the branch of government that initiates debt increases?

To be fair, the spending was initiated by Ryan/DeSantis and their branch mates.

You have a good memory.
For the record, Trump did not like the idea of a debt ceiling.
I expect he would be consistent on that.

Blame the voters.

They really don’t want spending cuts, not for their pet programs, oh sure they want to cut the programs they don’t care about.

Someday they will do away with the debt ceiling. I think it’s coming. I remember when Reagan went over 1 trillion in debt. People were saying it’s over. We’re screwed. It’s funny that 45 years later we still hear the same. In 2050, when the debt is 70 trillion, I’d imagine the same articles will be put out.
