Senator Todd Young (R-IN) said he would not support former president Donald Trump’s third consecutive bid for the GOP presidential nomination on Thursday after Trump’s televised townhall event on Wednesday evening.

“I don’t intend to support him for the Republican nomination,” Young told reporters. Asked by CNN’s Manu Raju why he would not be backing the prohibitive favorite for the nomination, Young responded “Where do I begin?”

Young responded “Where do I begin?”

Well, maybe begin by telling us when you first got used to the idea of being a loser.

Another RINO exposes himself. We are at the point where either you are either with us or you are against us which makes you the enemy.

Pence? 😂

So when Trump wins the primary, will Young support the Democratic nominee? Young is just another of the many RINOs in the Senate. His statement in nonsupport for Trump demonstrates his brilliance. /s This piece of chit can’t even think of the consequences from his statements.

I didn’t see much of the town hall but Trump hasn’t made himself any more likable to voters turned off by his condescending and combative persona. That’s fine in negotiations with Russia and China but it’s not going to generate votes. He cannot win.

Doesn’t matter that indictments come. The polls are cooked. If he’s the nominee again he will lose in a blowout. He hasn’t learned a d@mn thing from 2020 or 2022. No one is asking him not to fight but it is long past time he fight smarter. It’s too late. He comes off as thin-skinned and deranged as cranky Joe. His record doesn’t matter because swing voters find him unlikable and don’t want to be reminded of the drama every day for four more years. Voters can’t see the results just the histrionics and they don’t want to put themselves through it again. Trump helps Dems makes himself the issue, not the future of America.

Maybe it’s a strategy to contrast himself with Trump but DeSantis being so carefully scripted and inauthentic when he speaks creates strong doubts about him. His election cycle policy pandering just makes it worse.

This is a critical election and these are the shaping up to be two choices on the GOP side? Wow. Let’s just give away the future of the nation to corrupt puppet Joe. Sad.

As is everyone entitled to their opinion. And the way things are going, it may not even be an option for Trump to run. Which makes it a tad bit stupid for anyone to pre-emptively go on record re: their stance on Trump, before the nomination process has even begun.

Trump is a fighter, and that’s exactly what America needs if we are to save this nation from the darkness the left wishes to bring. Being squishy and “lovable” will not move the agenda that needs to be implemented. In case Americans haven’t figured it out yet, trying to be reasonable with unreasonable/fanatical people is a waste of time and a losing proposition. We are in a war, and we need an Ajax.

Where did he begin? I didn’t see any sort of reasonable facts that support his opinion? this kind of behavior is typical of someone trapped in their own paradox.

52% conservative means 48% liberal/leftist. Not good enough. The big votes that mattered he voted with the leftists. I am retiring in a few weeks. I have nothing but time on my hands. I wll support whatever conservative that runs in the primary againat him with time, volunteerism and money. When it matters he is not on our side.

You’re very generous. I wouldn’t even support him in the general. He uses the advantage of incumbency and the power of the establishment to prevent actual conservatives from winning that seat. He’s a cancer on the body politic.
