First conviction in a long list of criminal and civil trials of Trump we will see play out between now and Election Day 2024. The strategy is to destroy his reputation with 1000 cuts and use a series of convictions in kangaroo courts as justification for stopping his campaign.
Likely Trump will soon be indicted in Georgia for election tampering followed by a DOJ indictment for taking secret documents to Mar a Largo which in turn will be followed by the ultimate: indictment by the Special Prosecutor for insurrection and possible treason against the United States associated with the January 6, 2021 events in Washington. Give the case to one of the January 6 judges who gleefully
deny Constitutional due process rights to January 6 defendants and we may be treated to Donald Trump televised being led from the courtroom in handcuffs and confined for months or years without a trial date (shades of Julian Assange).
Somewhere along the way Romney, George Bush, Asa Hutcheson, John Sununu, Bill Barr, Mike Pence, Lisa Murkowski, Mitch McConnell, and other GOP politicians are going to announce it will be unhealthy for the nation if the party’s nominee for President has been convicted, or may be convicted, in a multitude of court cases occurring during the election season. Our democracy is too important to let the critical issues facing the nation be overshadowed by the trials and tribulations of a single candidate. They will ask Trump to stand aside, and failing that the RNC will make a rule that no one under indictment for misdemeanors or felonies can run in the primaries or be the party candidate for the highest office of the land.
The power structure running this country is not going to allow Donald Trump to serve as president again. If he persists in campaigning, they will deprive the people of the opportunity to vote for Trump in order to “save” democracy by any means at their disposal. It has become crystal clear a carefully orchestrated plan is being unfolded before our eyes.
It is also obvious the rule of law, the sanctity of elections, the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, and the will of the people of no concern to those who bathe in the corrupt cesspool that is the nation’s capital.
