Tucker Carlson is preparing to unleash allies to attack Fox News in an effort to bully the network into letting him work for — or start — a right-wing rival, sources close to him tell Axios.
Bryan Freedman, the high-powered Hollywood lawyer Carlson retained for the contract dispute, told Axios: "The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous." Why it matters: Tucker vs. Fox could reshape the conservative news world. Fox, which has seen its ratings plunge in Carlson's slot since he was let go 13 days ago, wants to sideline him by paying him $20 million a year not to work.

I have plenty of popcorn. Fire for effect, Tucker.
Unfortunately it would take over a year to take this to court. Tucker should say screw it. And turn the table on Fox and make them sue him to stop.
Odd that they’d want to silence him until after the election??
Evil forces at work no doubt!
So, why would sidelining Tucker stop him from starting a new network. Sidelining him means stopping from having his own talk show. But, why couldn’t he be the mentor for a new network without him having his own show. He could always join his own network later on with his own show.
Sweet, momentary and fleeting revenge will be sweet. Tucker, but be very careful teasin and provokin people ljke The Murdochs. They could rock your world economically and make life hellish for any big organization who wished to work with you.
In short, they could give you their version of the “Get Trump!!” method.
To what end?
Legally, Fox can’t discuss the real reason Tucker was fired. Tucker can make stuff up and spread it all over the place.
Employment discussions are a lot less interesting when you understand how they work.
That would be a quick meeting in court.
Fox would win. Tucker would not only have to wait…he would be bound and gagged the whole time.
Tucker should cut a deal and move on.
I’d love to see Newsmax pick him up and put him at the same time as Hannity.
Tucker isn’t all that conservative.
It’s that the Overton window has shifted so far left that he gets labeled far right for simply pointing out basic issues.
Good on him.
So we’re supposed to believe that the guy who could have been reporting on The Steal for the last three years and said nothing is going to go to war on the net that just kissed the corporate backside of a certain electronic voting machine manufacturer....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tucker should do whatever it takes to make Fox grab it’s ankles!!!!!
Don’t believe a THING that NON BLINKING Mike Allen says!!! He is a FREAK!
“Tucker should say screw it.”
Would Tucker refusing the money nullify Fox’s leverage?
Not sure. But it sounds like Fox wants to pay him so he can’t earn money in his profession which should be illegal.
Tucker is on fire right now and can demand a hell of a contract. But instead Fox sidelines him for a year when he’s at his peak and devalues his worth. Pretty sure a good contract lawyer can win this. Problem is it goes at the speed of gov’t.
I disagree. See my comment above.
Evil Forces = Paul Ryan.
Call it “Carlson News Network”. CNN.
Let them sue, lol.
He doesn’t have enough money to do that.
You don’t get into a pissing contest with a guy that owns a river. You won’t win. That is what Tucker’s lawyers are telling him.
