Gun control Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) tweeted Sunday that AR-15 rifles are not necessary for hunting or self-defense and suggested mass shooters would be those “most affected” by an “assault weapons” ban.
He described the AR-15 as “the mass shooter’s best friend,” omitting any mention that the shooting at an Atlanta hospital earlier in the week was carried out with a handgun.

Sorry Chrissy boy, the “most affected” would be LAW ABIDING AMERICANS. Wake the hell up sonny. Your feet and breath stink.
They want military style weapons banned so that no one can resist the government.
I wish patriotic Americans would stop voting for turd rollers like Murphy.
You know what’s not necessary, Chrissie? YOU.
100,000 +/- drug ODs/yr due to the secured border? Meh! Constitutional rights? Screw those! Hey crissy....🖕
What if the federal government is arming the illegal aliens?
“”suggested mass shooters would be those “most affected” by an “assault weapons” ban.””
That’s sure a new take on the subject. Watch - from now on, that will be the line they will all use.
Gosh - Murphy - you really think criminals will be affected by ANY LAW?? Name one law they DO OBEY!!!
Chrissy has gone full fascist Nazi.
As someone who lives in the “constitution“ state, we have known this for years. He’s always been a complete buffoon even before he made it to the Senate.
Keaton’s latent self from criticism by making it obvious that if you call his office being critical of him about 60 to 75% of the time they won’t even ask for contact information for a theoretical response, often times, I have had them cut me off midsentence tell me I am wrong, even when I was reading a statement directly from his official website and hang up on me.
“mass shooters would be those “most affected” by an “assault weapons” ban.”
Least affected. These people are intentionally planning to murder people and will secure their guns through illegal means. The law means nothing to these people.

First moron Chris, the AR15 is not an assault weapon. Second, ban them and the mental health cases will simply use a different weapon. If you , Chris, were really concerned you would be pushing for an intense mental health system. Nowadays the loonies run free because we can’t offend them.
“They want military style weapons banned so that no one can resist the government.”
Almost any gun barrel, some aluminum or zinc, and several toasters can be used to reduce the numbers of Communists.
If banning AR-15s would stop the mentally ill mass murderers, why not really get serious and ban mass shootings and murder. A little “common sense” problem solving there. Dumbass demonRAT. I just read a piece of crap about a “former military officer” and also a “former police officer” who said it’s the guns and not mental illness that is causing these killings. I guess that’s why the boy is a FORMER SOLDIER AND POLICE OFFICER. The boy isn’t very bright. Don’t know how he’s making a living these days and but he claims to be “a gun lover”. I won’t go there. I don’t think he’s a shrink or “CNN expert” but he did con some news knucklehead to write about him in a piece of crap article.
The Taliban store still accepts dollars:

Very few mass shootings entail long rifles.
Most entail gang crap.
The rest are the mentally ill who have been “wronged” in their minds.
No gun law would fix any of those.
Executions for using a gun in a crime would.
What some folks in DC are waiting to use on patriots who would fight in large groups:
