I hate when it’s off duty police and instead of armed citizen they say police got the shooter. NO THEY DIDN’T! AN ARMED CITIZEN DID!

And the verbiage is important! One way supports armed citizenry!

News was reporting that an on-duty police officer heard the shots and acted immediately while he was enroute to another call. FWIW.

I don’t trust much on these threads until the smoke settles but guessing we will get pretty close to the truth from the local police in this part of Texas.

Wasn’t off duty. He was there on another call, heard the shots, ran toward the shots and took out the gunman. It wall went down pretty quickly.

Thank God that cop was there. Probably saved a lot of lives.
