How does that complicate things?

The Constitution states that if both Pres and VP are from the same state, those electoral votes don’t count. Cheney moved from TX to WY for that reason. Not a stretch, because Cheney has a long history with WY. Outside of FL, Trump’s history is with NY and NJ. Neither is desirable.

Electors can’t cast both votes for candidates from their state. So the Florida could not vote for Trump as Pres and DeSantis as VP. Not other states votes would be affacted.
