The U.S. Navy has revealed that it approached a "drag queen influencer" to help persuade new recruits to join the military.
Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, who goes by the stage name "Harpy Daniels," announced back in November 2022 that he was the Navy’s "Digital Ambassador." Kelley has over 1,300,000 likes on TikTok.
While Kelley’s Instagram bio shows that the performer’s opinions "are not endorsed by DoD or DoN," the drag queen claims to have danced in drag for service officers on a number of different occasions, sharing one video from 2018.

1.) Has any of the 1.3 m likes translated to a new recruit. 2.) If it did, do we want them in our Navy?
The one thing I don’t have a question is what our adversaries think. They are laughing and it makes great anti American fodder for propaganda.
I wonder is 1.3m “people” actually liked this. Just as I don’t doubt that Biden got 81M votes...I do doubt that 81M people voted for Biden.
Same guys that drilled a hole in a sinking ship to let all the water run back into the sea.
The “Intelligence community” is busy trying to use the Internet to cram down whatever their narrative is for that day/week/month/year.
Most of the freako “likes” are probably those dirtbags.
Easily, there are 1.3 million freaks to like that, whether the pressed the like button or not is a separate question.
This will dissuade decent, rational people from joining the Navy. Given that in this modern technological era, most naval surface combatants are floating coffins, this might in the end be a good thing./sarc
was alissa moonlighting over at the US Navy?
Remember - it’s going to be the sexual weirdos that will get the promotions... They’ll be the commanding officers.
The goal of this campaign is to weaken the military and to have FEWER people sign up. The compromise the goons want is to lower standards and allow criminals into the forces... NONE OF THIS IS AN ACCIDENT.
“in this modern technological era, most naval surface combatants are floating coffins”
Many folks here don’t agree with that statement but I believe you are correct.
We haven’t seen a real modern naval war.
Imho it would be over very quickly.
The admirals would be sitting comfortably in their offices saying “Oops”.
No doubt the Chinese are licking their chops and feeling embolden while putting out to sea…for routine maneuvers, I’m sure.
If I were of age, I sure as hell wouldn’t sign up to defend these traitors and perverts. Especially since they crap on our vets so willfully. It pains me to say these, but I would not or will not fight for these bastards. I would for our our Godly Republic, however.
It has to be totally counterproductive. If any normal, emotionally and mentally healthy young man, or woman, had any reservations about joining the Navy, knowing that they were hiring drag queen influencers to broaden their appeal to the emotionally and mentally unhealthy would be be a deal breaker as far as I am concerned.
This is the Bud Light moment for the Navy. Trying to appeal to a tiny niche audience will drive away their base. Unless they think the pukes (as polite a term as I can come up with) who make up the junior members of the congressional staff are their base.
In the early 70’s I was a Destroyer sailor. This is embarrassing to me. I’d like to find out who was the “woke” zero that came up with this crap.
This old TV show from 1976 shows how to get men to join the military!

Well at least rum and the lash have been eliminated.
And a catchy new slogan:
RUM, SODOMY AND THE LASH
Great minds…
Satanic verses have become the Satanic reality.
At what point will they repaint our billion dollars worth of battle ships pink and polka dot? Will they issue scarfs with the khaki’s? Just say’in.
In late 1994, early 1995, I was the senior NCO (NCOIC) of a athletic section at an AF base in the northwest. I worked with a civilian at that time that had been in place for years and was a reserve LT Col commanding in the 445th when working.
While in one of the fitness facilities, we had a person in a light yellow sun dress, white gloves, and a flowered hat walk into the men’s locker room. We knew about him because he had been 445th but this was the first time he/she had dressed in female clothing and attempted to enter the male locker room. He still supported the male piece of the anatomy, so we couldn’t stop him even though he had had breast augmentation (on his nickel).
Shortly after its entry, the colonel chaplain and the vice wing commander came flying out of the locker room in panic and I took them into the office to talk to them. I mentioned this was the first time for this and I would be contacting the unit commander.
This guy had been 445th and wasn’t able to get the bennies he wanted so he went regular and got thrown out for mental problems and was declared 100%. (After he was beaten up a few times)
He was trying to get the VA to pay for the gender reassignment surgery so he was pushing the issue. What finally happened was I went through the jag and it went to the pentagon and a letter was sent down of which I was ordered, and only me, to give to him because they wanted some experience to do it. The letter required him to remain covered in the genital area at all times to include in the showers.
He, of course, exploded and tried to get me to say something he could use in court to get the bill for the remaining surgery paid for. And I refused to talk to him and requested he contain his screaming and language or I would call the SP’s. He left and I didn’t see him again.
As I understand it, he sued the military for the cost and didn’t get it. But this is not the only reason people join the military for advantages.
The medical field, for one, is an expensive endeavor and a lot of people working in it come in to get residency or training for 4 to 6 years and then leave trained in another field. Happens often. It’s part of the trade off for getting people in that normally wouldn’t be there.
