Never underestimate the Republican Party’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I think McCarthy holds the upper hand if he keeps saying we are only backing up to the spending limits from 4 months ago.
Even a typical democrat should be able to relate to that. No way is SloJoe going to default and shut the place down over an already abundant December spending threshold.
Then again, if Bammy and Jorgy want to ruin the place, that’s a good recipe for it.
