White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday discussed the brutal slaying of five people in Texas without noting the fugitive accused of the heinous crime is an illegal immigrant who had previously been deported four times.
During her daily briefing, Jean-Pierre provided an update on the manhunt currently underway for 38-year-old Francisco Oropesa, the Mexican national accused of gunning down five people – including a nine-year-old boy – inside a home in Cleveland, Texas, last Friday.
The White House spokeswoman called for more stringent gun control measures – but not immigration controls – in the wake of the tragedy.
“In all, five people were murdered by an individual armed with a powerful AR-15-style rifle,” Jean-Pierre said from the White House briefing room podium.

Too busy saying this was preventable. Not by securing the border, but in their mind by confiscating all guns.

The murders committed by this illegal falls squarely on the backs of Biden, Mayorkas and the Dems.

I might be crass, but this would be a TV commercial if I were running an election. If done properly, it would create anger, anger at Democrat policies that gets people to the polls.
If they can impeach Trump for a phone call, then I'd say Mayorkass should be held accountable.

I generally don’t do the conspiracy theory stuff, but a lot of what I have read about this does not add up.
The house where the Hondurans were killed reportedly had 10 people in it not uncommon for illegals, I have not heard anything about anyone living with the shooter, he was illegal also so that would be uncommon. He was supposedly drunk, but was able to shoot 5 victims in the head, have enough sense to leave change clothes and ditch his cell phone. That is odd. I wonder when he moved into his house and when did the victims move in. I’m beginning to wonder if this involved Honduran gangs and Mexican cartels.
It could be that the killings were in retaliation for something that happened in Honduras, and a Honduran gang paid a Mexican cartel to have one of their members carry it out. He could have done the shooting went a short ways changed clothes, ditched phone, and someone with a car picked him up and headed to Mexico. The shooting in the backyard thing could have been done just to coverup the real story.
