If they can pay the late night hosts millions they can pay the writers.
Tv shows like Seinfeld and Friends a few years ago rented out for $400 to $500 million to be run in syndication.

They should take the opportunity to cancel the late night hosts and bring in you know... funny people that entertain instead of lecture.

The shows are used as propaganda instead of entertainment.
8 episodes is not a season.... 39 then 26 was the norm then 20 then fewer and fewer to 8. The shows are pretty bad overall.

Dreary and dark and whiny for the dramas and comedy is done by rote, just add a laugh track. The tv commercials hardly mention the product but instead talk about feelings.

I watch many shows on the free Pluto tv that have thousands of episodes thru my Roku device so will not miss any new shows not being produced.

Pluto’s lineup of classics has been expanding.

I found a good 70s British show called The Professionals on there.

A mix of Sandbaggers, Danger Man, The Sweeney, MI5, and maybe early classic Avengers.
