Corporate pandering continues.

I wonder how reporters and anchors at network headquarters, and in Fox local newsrooms around the country — who have been doing stellar work for 15, 20, or more years — feel about the sudden elevation of a guy who was peddling his bike to junior high when they were on the beat reporting actual news stories and anchoring newscasts.

It is indeed a form of pandering. I don’t watch television, but I do walk by one often since my wife usually has it going, so I see trends based on snippets of what I see as I pass multiple times.

And there is a lot of pandering of all kinds on talk shows, news, and commercials.
