LJ strikes me as a pretty decent person who was probably forced by management to fill in this week.
It’s pretty obvious he went to the Hannity School of Broadcasting judging by his interview of Ted Wheeler over the weekend, and apparently, Asa Hutchinson last night. Someone needs to tell him that interrupting is not interviewing.
My wife watches his Saturday show and is a big fan, but while he does a good job doing segments and MOS interviews, he’s not ready to anchor either on the weekends and especially prime time. He needs a few more years of experience as a serious reporter first.
