--- "Can Trump Win Without Getting Right on the Vaccines?"

No, at least as far as we are concerned. The "event" was a hoax, and the mRNA jabs -- not vaccines -- are also a hoax, as well as damaging to some. Trump's refusal to consider he was flimflammed for the sake of claiming the rush to market under "emergency: powers was a mistake he must admit, else our votes will not be with him.

Who is “we” and “our” and how many do you think you speak for?

As nearly as I can tell, as far as “we” are concerned extends to about 40 people within the hallowed halls of FR who are essentially a one trick pony. They claim Trump is their heirs but perpetually rant in increasingly strange ways about the vaccine including trying to find any death and posting it as a vaccine death without the first scintilla of evidence that the person who is the subject of the posting was even vaccinated.

The vast majority of Americans either don’t care, see it as a net neutral or a positive. So the only thing that can happen is that the people who are going to decide the election won’t even bother to look ar the election until after labor day next year (2024). At that point, those that support trump but hate the vaccine better hope that some the more interesting posts from here are not heralded loud and long.

Politically speaking, Trump has no choice but to show the efficiency of operation warp speed, and the reality does not bear our what the aforementioned 40 freepers claim. From the political calculus perspective, to the extent that the antivaxx fringe is even on his radar, it is such a irrelevant percentage of the voting population he certainly will write them off, if it even crosses his mind. These fringe antivaxxers have a home in the 2024 election — RFK Jr, who by all accounts is a radical environmentalist is already the subject of affection of some here on the single issue of antivaxx.

The cold, hard political facts are not only is Trump not going to walk back his achievement of operation warp speed, those whom demonstrated irrational vocalist against them are irrelevant.

COVID mRNA vaccination was a (very) large scale experiment that has yielded a lot of interesting data, has saved a lot of lives, and has damaged more people that would normally stop a Phase II clinical trial before it reached billions of people.

I work in this field, and the political and social dimensions of this experiment have basically ruined any chance to gain and apply useful knowledge generated by it.

It’s a shame.
