Very good point, and true 99% of the time. Except in the case of President Trump, I noticed that Jeb, Rubio and Cruz aren't lining up for Round 2...

Trump actually officially ran multiple times in 2000, 2016, 2020, and 2024; he also “unofficially” campaigned in 2012, and claimed he was going to run in 2004.
