There’s a chance, but not for the reasons you believe. He’ll get the votes. He’ll get the EVs. He won’t escape the theft.

It’s not currently a choice. Trump is running for president, and I support him. DeSantis is governor of Florida, and I support him.
How “tough” is it to think both men have done a great deal of good for their constituents?

I don’t trust ivy league professional lawyer politicians. They infest D.C., and all them were at the wheel going back many decades. These are your professional lawyer politicians, like DeSantis, who’ve left America all but dead on the floor. An indisputable disaster in every direction.
