I think Kennedy presented the bigger danger to the DS here.
Trump is running as a Republican; people will vote party lines reflexively and vote against him for party affiliation alone. But Kennedy is coming from the left, and many on the left would be all too happy to ditch Biden for him.
They can’t let RFK get airtime.
RFK Jnr. will pull a lot votes from now ambivalent Trump supporters, too. Maybe that’s why he was fired? Right now Trump is the only so-called outsider candidate. RFK will cost Trump votes. No doubt.
If RFK wins the Democrat nomination we are in a new world.
