Who’da thunk a media company would be more valuable with the largest revenue-generating star gone?!

Yep....makes as much sense as the Bud Light major gaffe.

Almost as if their goal is to DEVALUE these companies, for some strange reason.

🤔

I think about 90% of the CEO’s and corporate management are stuffed shirt sons and daughters of privilege or inheritors who are absolutely dumb as a bucket of hammers.

Good luck with selling it as CNN Lite!

Reduced the payroll, makes company seem more profitable. Know of a company that terminated their VP of sales after a record setting year for his staff. He was sent packing with half the sales force. Company was courting a new investor needed to cut payroll to look more profitable.

Exactly, the spin has started. I think any number of things but 1 is that tucker was starting to come down on vaccines and big pharma/deep state didn’t like that. If was about money tucker could go anywhere, but nowhere will touch him. Maybe a podcast on Spotify like Rogan

Doesn't really make a lot of sense does it? Plus they signed him to a new deal and he's producing original content for their streaming platform. The streaming may not be doing all that well but that's besides the point. They have a lot invested in him. And he lives in DC (or the area - I know the mob chased him from his home in 2020 not sure if he moved back) so he's got a particular ear to the DC chatter.

He's really the only show I watch on Fox. Hannity had grown tiresome for me many years ago. I do have Fox Business on when I'm getting ready in the morning but it's not that great a show. It's got a lot of politics on it for a business channel.

Wife and I were considering dropping the cable. Maybe now is the time. Month is ending, time to cancel.

Tucker I'm sure will do fine, maybe end up with his own streaming platform/podcast.

I think Tucker, Trump and Musk should get together. Start a new media company. Would kill Fox.

Those that run Foxnews will lose a lot of money.
Interesting read on how much Tucker Carlson meant to Foxnews.
The uniparty is clearing the way for another election cheat.

Found this:

Blackrock owns 59.M shares of Dominion
Blackrock owns 45.7M shares of Fox.
Blackrock sued itself and fired Tucker Carlson as part of that lawsuit.
FIGURED IT OUT YET?

Thoughts on Tucker Carlson’s Firing

This is a context you won’t find elsewhere {smiles}. The phone has been blowing up…. Context and some details matter.

First, Carlson was being paid about $20 million a year by Murdoch. He had about 3 years left on his contract and will be paid the full contract amount. Carlson found out about 10 minutes before Fox Corp made the announcement. They did not “part ways,” Tucker Carlson was fired.

Carlson will not be asked to sign an NDA, is not bound by a “non-compete” clause following the contract nullification by Fox Corp, and will be free to do anything he wants in any venture. Additionally, he will be free to say whatever he wants about the issues at Fox and speak freely, or not, without any legal or contractual constraints. Keep all of that in mind.

Fox Nation was struggling prior to Tucker Carlson’s long show broadcasts. The entire Fox Corp digital streaming service, Fox Nation, was anchored around the Tucker Carlson Today digital streaming service. Fox News has just torpedoed their anchor, shot their lead dog, destroyed the digital brand. That gives you some scale and scope to how the elements viewed the threat of influence that Tucker Carlson had become.

According to an analysis by http://iSpot.tv, @TuckerCarlson
accounted for 16% of all ad revenue at @FoxNews
And during a six-month period of February through July of this year alone, Tucker generated $37.2 MILLION for Fox News and obliterated the competition.
