Question: If I use a dvr to record every night, do they get ratings or benefits from it? I record from 5PM - 10PM in case I need to watch something or if breaking news happens.

If they benefit from it, then I'll just un-record the series.

From what others have said, recording or dvr’ing count and are captured as “watching” somehow.
