That “rewiring” issue is VERY salient. Before spam filters came out, I had a work e-mail which was just simply published on the internet. And I was e-mail admin. So pretty much, I saw spam at its ugliest.
I cannot believe that men have natural inclinations towards what those spam ads showed. Who wants to watch a donkey have sex with a woman? And SO much of it highlighted that the sex was coerced... or was incestuous of a nature. Why do I care how big the GUY’S uh, equipment is?
But I tell you what... there was a comedian who joked about having had sex with his wife when she was painting, and now he gets turned on whenever she pulls out a paint brush. I think Everybody Loves Raymond even had a bit about how Debra didn’t want to have sex, even after he did the dishes, and he was kinda wierded out because he realized that doing the dishes made him uh, stand at attention. After several years of marriage, I TOTALLY BELIEVE THAT.
I know how insistently public schools push kids to be gay. But I can’t help wonder if the explosion of bisexuality is porn-watchers being trained to associate having sex with seeing same-sex bodies.
for the record, I actually saw one study which did show that consuming porn made people much more “accepting” of homosexuality.
