It doesn’t, DeSantis can’t win the primary.
The sad thing is if Trump and DeSantis teamed up ,they could both destroy Biden! Instead DeSantis took a swing at the Maga leader and has ruined any chance of uniting everyone against the communists. DeSantis is not going to get the independent rust belt voters that Trump pulled in. Trump joining with DeSantis may quell some of the rebellion from neoCONs. But DeSantis just couldn’t be a team player.
