I was surprised that it was that easy to see that those five engines weren’t lit.
It was a little shocking, but I was hoping it would still be successful.

That was rather new and different. Liquid methane burns very clean, and there weren't any SRBs to mess up the view. The Terran1 rocked also had a very clean burn, up until stage separation. That didn't work ...
So far we have two attempted launches with L-CH4 ... maybe third time will be the charm.
