It would be hard to vote for him again.

It would be my most unenthusiastic vote for any candidate ever if he got the nomination. Everything about Trump feels so old and played and boring. I am truly sick of him

“Many are the times when I wish he’d just STFU on certain topics.”

Yeah, it’s one thing to say “LGBT people love me!”, and it’s another to side with companies that are trying to groom kids.

I agree with Trump that Disney should move out of Florida. Disney should build another theme park in San Francisco.

I think Trump is just hammering DeSantis as he sees him as his biggest competitor in the primaries if DeSantis decides to run. Disney will never leave Florida and Trump knows that he is just trying to get under DeSantis skin and I think DeSantis is getting under Trumps skin, of course it doesn’t take much to do that...lol

“The Trump’s have sided with Budweiser, Disney, Mullaney, etc.”

Not sure this is the way to run a state. It literally singles out people for employment purposes and equal protection under the law which is high on the list of conservative issues. The state doesn’t do this to other counties to my knowledge.

“The legislation, which took effect upon being signed Monday, renames Reedy Creek as the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District and completely throws out its board, which will now instead be made up of five officials who are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the state Senate, and cannot have worked for a company that owns a theme park within the last three years.”

Plus it will place a financial burden on the locals from existing bonds and debts.

It also has the appearance, an important piece of elections, of being an attack on Disney for their public disagreement with what has been called the Don’t Say Gay bill. In America we have the privilege of free speech which in this case has the appearance, at the least, of being punished for using. Sometimes you may not like what is being said. But if it is legal to say. it shouldn’t be governed by acts of government that punish it’s utilization.

Trump was the best president in my lifetime (that goes back to Ike)...Yes...better than Reagan...who was GREAT.
Reagan never had to put up with the life/family destroying 24/7 warfare that Trump had to deal with. Reagan was never impeached; Trump 2 times (or maybe 3???)

I always thought that as a PERSON Trump was a pig but as a President he was great...the answer to prayers...he NEVER stopped fighting...the only elected Republican fought.

But his words and behavior as regards DeSantis have crossed the line! SOOO unnecessary and so destructive to our cause, Trump’s causes, and our country. These days he is making himself look more like a certifiable nut-case every time he opens his mouth about DeSantis. DeSantis is a great governor...so leave him alone and stop making yourself look like a kook...if that’s possible.

If DeSantis has more important things to do than fight Disney, Trump also has more important things to talk about than DeSantis and Disney.

This was a mistake for Trump. He has to rise above the merely personal in order to win and govern, and he’s having trouble doing that.

>> he’s going to alternate a lot of people.<<

"Alienate" is the word you were looking for. "Alternate" is what drag queens try to do with kids. Just a great group for the "politically wise" Trump to support.

I think a big part of the problem is that after the Obergefell decision, most Republicans saw this as a “dead issue”. They weren’t going to get an amendment passed to overrule that, and they weren’t going to get the moderate judges on the court to overturn that decision any time soon. So they just wanted to stop talking about it altogether and move on to other issues. And in doing so, they opened the gates to the homos and their money to influence the party openly.

They probably didn’t anticipate that this particular social issue would make a huge comeback with the base, no matter what the party elites think about it.

And if Disney relocates to San Francisco it can name the seven Dwarves Sleazy, Gropey, Druggie, Crappy, Smelly, Tranny, and Bootie.

Yep. Not a good look. His taste in advisors hasn’t apparently improved much since his days standing alongside Fauci. A lack of care in choosing who to trust and rely on is perhaps his worst flaw. Would still take him a thousand times over any Democrat. But preferring someone over Communists and morons isn’t exactly a tough choice.

I doubt DeSantis is that stupid.

The corp that owns Disney has connections on both sides of the aisle all the way to the top. DeSantis tries to grab any inch of it, and the State will burn him to the ground.

It was always a Faustian bargain supporting Donald Trump. It was a bet that supporting Trump could break the hold of the old tired RNC establishment while embracing a messenger everyone already knew was incredibly flawed.

I never kidded myself that Trump was a good man. He is thin-skinned, petulant, lies constantly about trivial and serious things, surrounds himself with sycophants, and in general acts like a 75-year-old man baby.

I had hoped ascending to the presidency could bring out the best in the man. It didn't happen. If we nominate this embittered old loser we will reap the whirlwind---and we will deserve it.

Not good; don’t like this. Trump is much harder on DeSantis than he is on Biden.

Bush (1992) and Dole (1996) were both harder on Pat Buchanan than on Clinton.

Really? They aren’t now, and they seem to have always been pro-LGBT. In their pageants, and their giant LGBTQ+ celebration at Mar-a-Lago. And they broke records having gay cabinet members, which Obama didn’t.

Daily Mail via MSN. I think I’ll wait to hear it from Trump, but then I don’t suffer from TDS.
