Not a boycott officially, but it’s happening organically. Same effect.

I don’t have the time or mental capacity to keep track of all the brands AB has. And even if we were to successfully avoid them all, they wouldn’t get the message. They would blame their failure on some other issue. I think it’s better to focus on the brand that did the deed. That makes the correlation between their wokeness and their failure as a brand much more obvious to them and to the left.

I could be wrong but that’s the way I see it. But in any case I agree that we need to drive this home. Budweiser is dead to me forever. There is no forgiveness here. The brand must die.

I appreciate the sentiment but the basic problem is this....

Let’s say that not one more Budweiser is bought, the brand is closed down and all former Bud drinkers shift over to Corona (I’m using this as the representative example of other AB brands).... AB loses the sales of a million bottles of Bud a day but picks up the sales of million bottles of Corona a day.

Under that scenario, what message was driven home to AB? I don’t think they got any message.

I think the bottom line for consumers is that before spending money on anything, some thought needs to be given as to who the party is that is making the product you want and do you really want to support (and help make more profitable) a company whose views are something that you vehemently disagree with. For me, it is a very long list of companies now that I will never buy from. Right now for example, I need to buy a new truck... plenty of companies are simply off my list entirely for no other reason than I simply will not contribute to their bottom line. In the case of beer, it is actually quite easy. Find a beer you like that has nothing to do with the AB organization (you only need to do that investigation once) and stick with it (at least until AB buys them)....
