There’s nothing worse than a micromanaging helicopter leader showing up at the scene of a disaster during a difficult response.
Everything stops to cater to the higher up who decided to “visit” for the photo op.
There even is delineation called “workers and visitors” - the term “visitors” is said with great disdain. Even diverting an asset for a personnal flyover creates a problem more often than not.
