I will not comment on the accuracy of Trump’s remarks.
Instead I will say this. Democrats never snipe at each other. You never hear of a leading Democrat criticizing Biden, or slamming Newsom. Yet Republicans constantly criticize each other (Trump is hardly alone here).
This is just but one reason why the GOP will go the way of the Whig Party, and the dodo.
Optics. Presidents don’t go to tornado and hurricane sites to save the day. Tough times require a leader, a show of solidarity. Also, put a spotlight on what you see as important. This is why a bunch of “American Leaders” show up in Ukraine and why having someone at the border would be appreciated. In Desanctimonius doesn’t get this, he shouldn’t be running for President. Of course that won’t stop him because like the other politicians power is all they care about.

That’s just asinine. Florida has the expert people in place to evaluate the situation on the ground and the emergency management systems in place to take care of this. As well as, to get the required information to Desantis for his action, when it comes to his role, as necessary.
I think he should stay out as well.

DeSantis was traveling to Ohio today when he should have gone a month ago. He continues to put people of Florida LAST.
He should have canceled his trip & been there for people who are struggling in Fort Lauderdale after flooding.
But no he continues on and does a second show in Ohio.
He’ll also be at Liberty University tomorrow before heading off to New Hampshire.
How long is the going to go on for? 2 years? He was just reelected 5 months ago.
He says he is on a tour. Sounds a lot more like a SHADOW CAMPAIGN.
Is DeSantis really worse than all of the Democrats or is he just more of a threat to Trump than any Democrat? And I guess they never figure on needing DeSantis or his supporters? It is really all quite pathetic, shows Trump is weak and insecure, and will only boost DeSantis if he chooses to enter the race.
At the end of the day DeSantis will become teflon. Keep the attacks coming on stupid stuff. I’m tired of the Trump attacks. Policy? not much.
Dems only criticize those who are no longer useful to the revolution (cf. "Feinstein"), because the issue is always the revolution.
Republicans come in more varieties than Coldstone ice cream flavors, and they refuse to stand for a singular set of reformational goals the way Dems stand for a singular set of revolutionary goals.
Then there's Trump, who wants to be President again so bad that he'll destroy anyone he sees in the way, regardless of whether that person is useful to MAGA or not.
I want MAGA. I don't give a [bleep] who brings it. America needs to be made great again, because that is the only way it will not cease to be anything worthwhile.
The way to MAGA is to get rid of Democrats, because they have become anti-American Marxist woke destroyers. Not get rid of Trump, not get rid of DeSantis, not get rid of MTG, Chip Ray, Boebert, or all the people who have stopped drinking Bud Light. GET RID OF DEMOCRATS. Anything that isn't getting rid of Democrats is anti-MAGA, including Trump beating up on Republicans.
