I gave up listening to NPR about 20 years agoI listen to it every day, but not by choice. My 86-year-old housemate gets all her news from NPR and CBS.

I did a google search the other day of Musk/Twitter news articles. It was amazing- pretty much every single one of them was a negative article from the media. Not just they were negative, they were just going as far as possible to trash him and twitter.
So, do I care that he took this step with NPR? Nope!! I hope he tweaks all of them and expose them as frauds.

Maybe NPR should take Bud Light as sponsor.

Your post reminded me of a college paper I wrote in the early 90s with the title, "Left Wing Things Considered". It was about how left tilted ATC was.
My leftist professor ripped it good (but still gave me a good grade).
Funny thing is, I was a part time on air employee of my local public radio station.

I suppose NPR could boast about being an even bigger toady to the deep state than the New York Times and Washington Post, eh?

My 86-year-old housemate gets all her news from NPR and CBS. Yikes ... my condolences. That can't be easy trying to live a sane life with NPR & CBS droning on in the background.

My father used to listen to NPR.
When I asked him why, he said, “The better to know my enemies.”
Made sense to me. :-)

NPR isn't a train station or an airport. They don't need to announce their departures.

Next step: make them leave radio. Defund NPR and PBS.

PBS is just as bad. The same treatments of the same handful of issues with democrats and deviates as the heroes over and over. Sometimes I amuse myself by surfing there and seeing how many minutes it takes for one of them to appear.

Defund NPR and PBS.I wish we could defund their "news" part but keep some of the stuff like Endeavour, a UK show about a a police detective who loves opera.
