What evidence? Exit polls?
Evidence I’ve seen and heard :
1. exit polls suggesting increased support for Democrats because of the abortion issue.
2. talk radio discussions of this subject in which talk show hosts say this happened.
3. Many here, on Free Republic, who criticized Lindsay Graham during the mid-term campaign, when he introduced the idea of a federal ban on abortion. Many people here, on this conservative site, said Lindsay Graham was going too far and that such a position would hurt Republicans.
