This is not surprising, even though it’s more expensive than when Trump was POTUS, you can still buy gasoline anywhere at anytime, same for diesel, you can still expect to have electric power 99.9999% of the time with minimal interuption.
Why would you think anything other than we have energy no reason to worry, except if you pay attention to the plans to force Americans to buy EVs and what happens when the power grid can’t hold up, something that doesn’t concern most Americans who only think of the next couple of hours instead what happens next year or 5 years from now.

They have had rolling blackouts throughout the nation for years, maybe as far back as 2008. The utility supplier; Eskom Holdings needs billions to repair and update their power plants. They don’t get that money from an unstable government.
