Be glad you are not living in South Africa right now.
They have had rolling blackouts throughout the nation for years, maybe as far back as 2008. The utility supplier; Eskom Holdings needs billions to repair and update their power plants. They don’t get that money from an unstable government.

Energy situation?
Energy wasn't a situation until after alleged crisis-manufacturing Democrats allegedly stole 2020 elections from Trump imo.
More than 1/3 of the country are blithering idiots, and the number is growing.
We have oil, gas and coal in abundance. We also have uranium. We have all the components to build as many power and oil refineries as needed. We even have all the required stuff to build as many windmills and solar panels as we want if people want to go in that direction.
We should be able to produce as much energy as we need if we want to.
What is lacking is the want to.
And that is what is serious. That we are sitting on a pile of food and starving to death because of evil political dirt bags.
Most Americans think Sniffer will be out of here in 2 years, and, the GOP will change the energy situation.
There’s no shortage of peeps living in the USA who are not serious.
There is no genuin energy problem,the attack on our energy resources is self inflicted,the senile traitor in the White House,better known as the Biden crime syndicate is noe on its wat to Ireland,The Big Guy joe,Hunter,and his sister on the way to make more cash
Well that’s sad that half are willing to sacrifice well being for the Gaia god.
Our Energy situation is great. Our political situation sucks.
