Look what happened to the NFL, Nike, Gillette, Target, etc.?
Eventually they all got their business back.

It does not appear that is at all the case, at least in regards Gillette. While the story is rather more complicated than the “Gillette loses $8 billion” headlines - which reflected several circumstances unrelated to the ad as well - their new level set is about 20% or so lower than they were, with many customers moving to Harry’s and Dollar Shave Club. That migration had been going on for a few years, but rapidly accelerated in 2019.

Yes I know they lost quite a bit in the aftermath of the ad. The key question is, how much have they gained back?
I’m sure not all the old customers have gone back, but I bet over 50% have and with all the new young men coming of shaving age and don’t know about that ad probably use gillette in similar proportions as before the ad.
Our problem is that we win a temporary battle but then fall asleep and continue losing the war.
The only way to make an impact is to isolate one of these bastard companies and actually put them out of business... forever. And then go on to the next one.
But sadly I don’t see that happening. Unlike the left, we lack strength in our convictions, whereas they are like rabid dogs for theirs.
Why that is, I don’t know. Do you?
