Tinted Windows need to be banned & removed.
My understanding is deeply tinted windows are banned in California - especially the driver’s side window b/c police can’t see who the driver is when they walk up.
One of my friends inherited a car from a deceased aunt in Phoenix, Arizona and had to have the windows changed out b/c what is legal tint in Arizona is not in California - a window tinting place I pass in my travels has a large sign out that says “window tinting - legal only.”
Yet I see cars every day, all day, with windows tinted so dark you can’t see in any of the windows - at all. I was parked next to one today - couldn’t see if anyone was sitting in the car b/c the windows were so heavily tinted.
