The abortion issue is killing us, but it’s a hill I can’t surrender.
It is, but it shouldn't be. The decision merely tossed the option back to the States; it didn't outlaw abortion, it just got Fedzilla out of the picture.
Kicking education back to the states and towns would also be a huge benefit. Common Core was a disaster. And, the good intentions of "no child left behind" turned into "all children left behind."
Outlawing third-trimester abortions does not generate much opposition. Few people can stomach it.
Attempting to outlaw first-trimester abortions will mobilize women to vote against us. Sorry, but that's how I see it.
