This is a loser mindset that gets repeated here ad nauseam so that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Don’t fall for it. Biden only won in 2020 by 44k votes in 3 states. Trump can easily make that up, especially with Biden screwing up so badly. And we weren’t even trying to do mail in and early voting! We can mail and early vote better than they can.

I also believe we are entering an age where 1-term Presidents are going to be the norm, rather than the exception.

If the candidate winning isn't the Beltway appropriate candidate, another few thousand votes will be harvested and tallied until they can call the race for the approved selection. If there were only a million voters, and the unapproved candidate got 700K votes, there would suddenly be found an additional 500,000 votes to manufacture the win by the Beltway Election task group.

After a decade or so the republican politicians will just be absorbed.
