The fact that this woman, who has spent a long lifetime as a lawmaker and for a time was second in line to the Presidency has such a flawed understanding of the Anglo-American legal system speaks volumes.
Also note the last part - “which grants that right”. She is saying that the government grants the right of trial by jury, which it does not. The right to trial by jury pre-existed the constitution and even the formation of the USA.
