I seriously think this is to take the focus off the
RESTRICT bill. This is handing over the Internet to Biden and friends, shutting down all the other sites they currently have no control over. Can't currently censor Gettr, Truth Social, Parler, Rumble, etc. But will be able to with this 'law'.
It has "bipartisan" support in Senate so just have to get it through House. Indictment is shiny object, look over here.
Doesn't anyone wonder why Biden who promptly undid President Trump's EO to ban Tiktok is suddenly all for it? Wake up, America!

If the Republicans had balls, they’d take a real stand. Issue a subpoena for Bragg immediately. If he doesn’t comply right away, place him in contempt and send the Capitol Police to arrest him and bring him before the committee. This used to happen. I can’t think of a more appropriate time than now to do it again.
Turnabout is fair play.
I’m no Trump supporter this time around, but there’s something far beyond Trump here that needs to be met head on. Republicans need to show they stand for the rule of law and the fairness of its application.
Our country is a powder keg right now. Its time for decisive action to stop this politicization of our legal system...

Sorry for being a downer but I think the illusion of liberty was burst for good during 2020 .. election steal plus covid tyranny. We are living in a police state sucks for us.
