No, I was actually a Palin fan...

So was I. Don't post much here anymore, but sorry to see you think I'm boorish. Beat of luck to you and hope you are well. Those were the days in the Palin years.

Of course I oppose this move and don’t like to see it, except for two things that might work in our favor (as freedom-loving conservatives) ...

(1) This makes the current administration look desperate and petty.

(2) A court case will provide an opportunity for discussion of subjects that we are continually being told are “settled” in particular the 2020 election.

There is always the chance that Trump will be found not guilty, but I think most of us figure the court system in NYC city at least is probably rigged like the election was rigged, so a guilty verdict is not going to change many minds.

Given the overall situation the real context of this matter is not the narrow legal case itself but the wider political implications, and balance. Whatever the pros or cons of this case, nobody in their right mind could possibly say that there is a balanced political situation in America today. Many millions of people perceive that leading Democrats have committed far more serious crimes than anything Donald Trump could have done (and that could easily be nothing illegal at all). Those crimes may amount to the highest possible types of serious felonies and even treason. Those are the crimes that require investigation and consequences, something that ironically could only become possible if Trump (or a very small number of other possible candidates) becomes president.

The symbol of the justice system is a set of balances. Perhaps instead it should be a marked ace of spades.

Hey Al, longtime no see!

No, I don't think that you are boorish at all but a damned, good man, and a fine Conservative fighter.

We just have different opinions this go around but I still respect the heck out of ya! I hope you are well too!
