I read many of your old posts. Two questions:

question: Why?

Because of his loutish behavior, his past New York City liberalism, and his association and friendship with the Clintons and other crooked Democrats. In short, he was no Conservative at that time, but a wolf in sheep's clothing...a charlatan, and a con man.

Cabal. What is it?

True. Very few are born a conservative. Winston Churchill said it best. something like. if you're not a liberal when you're young you have no heart. If you're not a conservative when your older you have no brain.
Though I have my doubts with him supporting known RINOs.


Cabal. What is it in your words relative to world leadership? not simply government leadership.
