Republicans need to realize that Biden is so bad for the USA that any of the likely Republican candidates would be a big improvement. That includes Trump, DeSantis, Haley, Christie, Pompeo, and Pence. We need to choose the nominee who will be most likely to win in 2024, because without a win in 2024 our country will likely be lost. Lincoln was nominated in 1860 not because he was considered a better man than Seward, but because he was considered more likely to win the election. I currently like DeSantis the best, but whoever we are confident can beat the Rats, let’s nominate them.
We won’t know who that is until next year. No point losing any sleep over it now.
But we have to have Trump’s back now, because it’s no longer about him. It’s about us. Even if you don’t want to vote for him next year, that doesn’t matter right now.
No. That is a recipe for failure.
