It was funny before. Now its getting funnier.
Nobody said no when the gibmedats demanded a reparations panel. In the name of “social justice” they went along with it. Then, when the gibmedats came up with their original ridiculous $5m demand, the progressives were too terrified to even voice a token opposition. So the gibmedats looked around and said, well, if they’re not complaining about $5m, then clearly thats not enough, so we’ll go for more.
Eventually this will come crashing down, and at the end of the day the gibmedats will get nothing. Or a tiny token at best. And thats when the fun begins.
Maybe they should base reparations not only on whether their ancestors were actually slave but also on how much they have contribute to making this Republic better. Don’t get me wrong. I believe there are many blacks that have put on police and military uniforms and put their lives in danger and have lost their lives in that service but have been mostly ignored by the government they have served. I believe California is just following the Democrats plan to tax the middle class out of existence, disarm law abiding citizens of all assault weapons aka any semiautomatic weapon and establish their long sought after socialist “Republic’.
Now, if your ancestors were victims of “Red Lining”, and can demonstrate the difference in wealth that the Red Lining cost, then you have a case.
Normals have to push back and call BS on this one .
You’re right, none of it will get paid, once a number gets settled on, the fight over when the reparations start getting paid will be fun to watch.
Think about how stupid this could become, as long as the funny money for these reparations stays in SFO or California and demands are not made to Americans around the country, I hope serious movement to actually pay the reparations goes forward, the fight will be fun to watch.

California has large Asians and Hispanic populations - who continue to vote majority Democrat.
Can’t see them going along with THEM paying blacks millions of dollars (they want the $$ for themselves) - although I have a feeling they’ll be asking for reparations next, for any perceived slight...So, they may continue to vote Democrat.
But, hopefully not.

All of it will be back in the economy soon as the recipients go on wild spending sprees. They’ll be broke within months, the $1 homes trashed or destroyed completely.
When the absurd figures reach $80 Kabillion, Biden will jump in with federal subsidies.
It will be fun watching what happens when credulous blacks are convinced that their progressive pimps are going to give them many $$ millions - and then they get NOTHING.
I predict some much reduced form of payment for a relative few spread over 30 years. Then a structured settlement cash up front company will offer all the cash at once with an imputed interest rate of about 70%.
In other words, the people that have all the money now will get it all back almost immediately, after they pat themselves on the back for a nice virtue signal.
Just change it to a plane ticket to Liberia.

Yep, no doubt. I’m not sure the republiic can survive another 2 years of Biden and ilk. They are turning the republic into a communist nation. Once minorities ger their reparations, they will, like most people who get unexpected windfalls, mostly blow right through the money and never stop demanding more.
I expect there will be violent riots - but the media will tell them it is “White Supremacists” and “Republicans” who “aren’t allowing the reparation payments to be released.”
