I have heard stories that there are two other similar schools nearby that do have an armed officer on campus.
Otherwise this school seems to have good security, access lock down and training.

I can't answer that.
All I can say is this VERY Much looks like proper police procedure, proper police tactics, and good training.
In short a "good shoot".

Metro Police were just amazing. Thank God.

If that's accurate, that was excellent. Engaging them kept her distracted away from harming anyone else until the entry team could infiltrate and flank. Saw the broken window and assumed it was damage caused by fire from the entry team - maybe not.

It's accurate, the entry team effectively flanked the shooter, however responding officers outside did not fire any rounds at all.
The shooter broke out the second floor window to use it as a overlooking sniper position against officers arriving outside.
Fortunately, the first officers to arrive had already formed the entry team and had entered the school building's first floor.
The first officer to arrive was immediately met outside by a school employee, who provided a master key allowing the entry team immediate and quiet access.
Also fortunately, the shooter neglected to watch for a flank while firing from the second floor overlook position on officers outside.
The officers outside did not engage, they drew fire by simply being in view and attracting attention, exactly what was needed to distract the shooter.

Whatever the details, noting how the body was folded back in relation to the window, the team attained complete surprise. She never knew what hit her. That will also be the fate awaiting any other such belligerent nitwits. Having a bunch of guns does not make one a tactician.
