She is good with dirty old men, that could well prove to be an advantage here, particularly if African leaders have any sense of self-preservation. Does she annoy the heck out of me? Absolutely, but you have to figure that the Chinese have a history of trapping others in debt traps and then going all “wolf warrior,” and the Russians are leading with the bloody Wagner mercenaries. It shouldn’t be a very high bar that our Kamala has to clear, but who knows?!

I sat in a restaurant listening to the black woman in the next booth describe her trip to Africa to her black female friend. She was horrified by the degree of racism from other blacks saying something like, “They can tell by the way you look whether you are from their tribe and if you aren’t they hate you. Honestly, if it wasn’t for our armed guard, they’d probably have killed us. They were fine with the whites. As far as finding your roots, trust me, you don’t want to.”
