I think you’re right. Climate alarmism is reaching critical mass.

I wondered why it hasn't rained since yesterday.

Seriously, I'll grant them that we've drawn down water tables, sometimes polluted ground water, flushed prefectly good water to the sea (California) and that the growing population is going to need more.

My solutions:

Oh, I’m so afraid. I’m going to collect water vapor in my face diaper to save the earth.

I remember those days. Many junkyards were on the banks of the Ohio River & Pigeon Creek area in Southern Indiana.

We’ve fixed those issues here, they still beach large ocean going vessels in areas of the world for cheap salvaging. Perhaps these “environmental nuts” should go there and clean up their ways of polluting their environments?

Hey environMENTALists, ship your microvan with your COEXIST bumper sticker over there and spread your 💕 around those Muzzie/Commie countries. Mother Earth is depending on you to get it done!

Wait, wait, wait! Last week they told us we have too much water and New York City will soon be under water. You know, Global Warming - we're all gonna die ...

The clown that wrote the article says that global warming causes water to evaporate. Doesn’t bother to mention the fact that evaporated water returns as rain or snow.

Uh oh. Power grab to take over the water supply.

The underlying issue is whether you trust a cabal of mass murderers to be stewards of the environment.

“Governments and actors in the public and private sectors will present proposals at the conference to reverse that trend..”

Actors? What proposals, lockdowns? Get the vax? Turn off your AC units? Ban gas stoves?

Correction: Nuclear Powered desalination plants, not dehydration plants.

Last I heard, they were still having severe drought and server flooding. But the drought is better. And I saw a headline about why they can't use rainwater. But I didn't read it.

...too little or too much water in some places, and contaminated water in others...

When was it ever different throughout human existence?

It is amazing how few people know of the existence of primary water that sits as close as 300 feet to the surface of much of the earth. It is renewable, and sits there for the taking, and only a few companies are at work harvesting it.

When does this third worlder, Guterres, get thrown out of the U.N. on his ass. His stupidity and anti-Americanism is getting very old and very tired. Don’t tell me this a lifetime gig like Ruth Buzzi Ginsberg had with SCOTUS.

All you need to do to solve the problem of water is to make car and truck sized desalination plants the size of cars and trucks. These desalination plants can work either independently or snap together with other small desalination plants of the same size and specifications.

Here’s what make it revolutionary.

Make these desalination in the same way musk makes cars and trucks.

That collapses the cost of desalination plants to the point where its economic to use desalinated water for desert agriculture.

That means we could green the US desert southwest and increase the habitable size of the USA by roughly one quarter and double the size of habitable earth.
