They are scared of him. They always let you know who they fear.
I believe NBC News is prodding DeSantis.
I would vote for DeSantis over Trump, but the price to pay for such an internal fight is not worth it. He should just skip the thing altogether. They’re basically fighting over the same audience and it would really fall into who’s going to be the most effectively negative candidate. Something that will not serve the interests of the ultimate fall campaign.
