The point is to try to win the peace. We lost the “peace” in the aftermath of the Cold War.
I’m all for peaceful resolutions. But the “tyrannical governments with an expansionist intent” have to come to the table or be dragged to the table.
Sometimes tyrannical governments are going to start a hot war. and we need to respond with a hot war before we can get back to peace.
Maybe Trump could have avoided a hot war. IDK. Right now we have a hot war.
