These transgender people have a higher rate of suicide than other people.

Do they have high rates of suicide because Society is so oppressive to transgender people? That is a common liberal explanation for transgender suicides.

I think these people are troubled individuals. And even if they have all the hormone shot and surgery treatments, they’re still troubled individuals.

And troubled individuals commit suicide more often than others

My personal experience is seeing a common thread among transgenders that is a history of terrible abuse. I have speculated they transition to “kill” the them who was a magnet for the abuse. It’s often said depression is anger turned inward. At least this person is at peace. I am sure the supportive coworkers are confused because they thought they had done everything right. They were lied to by activists and a complicit media who have an agenda less about helping these people and more about personal power and profit.

This is very much a mental health crisis and not a problem easily solvable by surgery.
