We have our eyes off the ball, because both Georgia and the bogus special counsel are planning on indicting Trump.
The Georgia case is nearly as weak based on “find me 15,000 votes” which could clearly mean minor counting errors could easily flip Georgia and a double check must be conducted. Trump was not asking GA gov. to manufacture 15K votes.
So, counting on GA to get Bragg off the hook may work, but I don’t see how.
Bragg is not obligated to show recent anti-Cohen testimony to the grand jury, but it’s clearly unethical and could earn him a reprimand. He may be weighing the kudos for a cuffed and perp-walked Trump vs. the idiocy of bringing a ludicrous case and creating a martyr. And setting a banana republic precedent in the US.
An indictment clearly knocks the US off the mantle of a step above the rest of the world, but that’s been Obama’s goal all along. I predict the indictment willl happen.
