It seems like it should be straightforward. If you want to play dress up and pretend you’re a girl in other areas of life go for it. But ,,when it comes to sports competition ,you compete against others of the same biological sex.
The article says 18 states have passed similar laws. I would not be surprised if we see lawsuits eventually on this. And the claim would be that it is a discriminatory not to allow this trans female type to compete against biological females.
At that point it is up to the girls to say “NO” and not compete. When I was young, I was a swimmer and worked hard to win competitions and admit I was not able to get to the professional level events. But I knew girls that did and these ladies worked hard to get there. Now, they might not have made it if they had men competing against them. This just isn’t right.
