Trump lives in Florida. How can he be arrested for a misdemeanor issued from New York?
You have a point. NY cops don't have the authority to arrest Trump in FL.
Question is, can NY demand FL cops (or any cops outside of NY) arrest Trump?
If not, and Trump does not go to NY for arrest, can he be considered a fleeing felon? Is that a federal offense?
